This five piece say they are all siblings, yet somehow half of them are French and half American. Just another enigma in the wistful new-folk world of Moriarty, where past and present merge, and indie bluegrass bohemia meets the mainstream – in France their debut album went gold. The band features Rosemary Moriarty (singer, xylophone, thumb piano, spoons, tambourine) and her four brothers Tom (chromatic and diatonic harmonicas, kazoo, drilling machines, Jew's harp), Arthur (Tchekovian guitar), Zim (double-bass, acoustic guitar, music box, suitcase drum) and Charles (electric and resonator guitars).
